Privacy Agreement
I understand that I am about to apply for employment at Chipotle and that I will be asked to provide certain types of personal information as well as other information with respect to the position that I am interested in. BY SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO CHIPOTLE OR ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS AND AGENTS, I AGREE THAT CHIPOTLE MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW. Any personal information is collected, stored and protected according to the requirements of any applicable privacy laws and regulations. You may therefore be assured that it will not be used for unauthorized purposes. You also have the right to review and correct any information about yourself in files that are retained.
I understand that Chipotle keeps my job inquiries and job applications confidential. However, Chipotle may share my personal information within the company and with its affiliated companies. I further understand that Chipotle gathers this information through a third-party service provider and that Chipotle may also use other service providers to assist in the application process, and to provide and/or administer employee benefits you elect and other services in connection with your employment. By submitting my application, I consent to disclosure of my information to such third parties, and to such third parties’ use of such information for the purposes for which it is provided to them. Third parties that receive personal information are required to confirm their commitment to the privacy policies set out herein.
There are circumstances where collection, use or disclosure may be justified or permitted, or where we are obliged to disclose personal information without your consent.
We will keep personal information only as long as it is necessary. When the personal information is no longer required, it will be destroyed to prevent unauthorized parties from gaining access to the information.
I understand that Chipotle reserves the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to fulfill my requests, or to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a matter of public safety.
I understand that Chipotle requires me to furnish documentation showing my identity and legal authorization to work in Canada once I have been offered employment.
